Description
This clear leaded glass provides superior radiation shielding for medical, technical, and research environments. With high lead and barium content, it offers effective protection against X-ray radiation in the 80 to 300 kV range while maintaining excellent optical clarity for observation purposes.
The glass is supplied as polished plates in large dimensions, allowing architects to design expansive viewing windows with wide fields of vision. It can be laminated using polyvinyl butyral interlayers and incorporated into sealed double-glazed units for additional insulation and safety requirements.
